DIY Plush Fortune Cookies
Make your own plush fortune cookie with Heidi Kenney of May Paper Crane. She will show you how to make one of her signature plush with a complete kit that she assembled herself!

Instructor: Heidi Kenney - Heidi Kenney is the mastermind behind various happy (& sometimes very sad) plush veggies, donuts, tampons, toilet paper rolls and many other everyday food and household items. Currently working with Kidrobot, and raising two kids and making time for her awesome husband, Tom, Heidi still manages to find time to make fun plush toys that bring joy to kids and adults alike. Personalize Your Plush
Missy will be offering blank plush forms made from cute cotton fabrics. Then she will teach how to embroider/decorate them. She will bring ribbons, yarns, buttons, etc to help the group decorate their plush form. Missy will make a human form that can easily be transformed into a monster/cat/bear/dog... whatever, just by adding felt ears/horns/teeth, etc.

Instructor: Missy Balance - Missy Balance is appropriately named so because she is really great at balancing things. She works part time at a construction company, has two beautiful daughters and a fancy husband and crafts in the dark hours of the night. There is a pretty, pink, magical sewing room in Sacramento, California where Missy BALANCES her hobbies, which include, but are not limited to sewing, stitching, stamping, scrapping, and shhh-ing the barking chihuahua that loiters at her feet. I told you it was magical. Crafting since 1982, and born in 1977 Missy has mearly scratched the surface of all that she someday hopes to create! 3D Needle Felting Class
Using colorful wool fiber and felting needles, we'll explore several 3D felting techniques. This is a playful environment to discover and refine the process of turning wool into wearable art. Made by Moxie kits include the Flower Flair Pin Kit, Da Bomb Pin Kit, Great Ball of Fiber Ring Kit, and Star Bling Ring Kit. Each kit contains: beautiful wool roving (more than enough for the project with leftovers to play with), 2 felting needles, small Ecofoam, pin back, glue, and instructions.

Instructor: Made By Moxie - Fading the line between "art" and "craft," Moxie is a fiber alchemist on the avant garde of the felting movement. She uses wool to create sophisticated wearable art, detailed replica sculptures, whimsical plush toys and more. Moxie is a facilitator, proponent and aficionado of this versatile art form. By teaching the people to felt, she will create a finger puppet army that will join hands, take over governments and bring lasting peace to our broken world. The sleeper cells are already in place. The needle is mightier than the sword.
