Laser Cutter
Come see the most versatile and user friendly tool at TechShop! Laser cutting and etching demonstrations on wood, cardboard, acrylic, fabric (and much more!).

Vinyl Cutter
Perfect for cutting stencils, stickers, templates and decals, the vinyl cutter will be cranking out fun stickers to share throughout the day.

CNC Embroidery Machine
A must-see for every seamstress! Able to create custom and complex embroidery at the touch of a button this machine will be showing off its incredible abilities for the entirety of the show.

Silk Screening Bandannas Using A Vinyl Stencil
Where: DIY Funhouse
When: Saturday  3:00PM – 5:00PM
Limited Seating of 12 students maximum – First come First Served!
Come learn TechShop’s fun and easy way to custom silk screened designs! This workshop will take you through the simple steps of creating a single-color screen print onto a blank bandanna. You will also get to learn about the endless possibilities that Techshop’s CNC Vinyl Cutter can provide for creating your very own silk screening stencils, stickers, decals and more. Easy and super fun!

How to Create a Gift Box from Aluminum Cans
Where: DIY Funhouse
When: Sunday 1:00pm – 3:00PM
Limited Seating of 12 students maximum – First come First Served!
Learn how to recycle an aluminum can into a lovely little gift box. Using simple tools and a couple of large aluminum cans, students will create an awesome embossed aluminum gift box – just in time for the holidays! If you love DIY recycling, this workshop is for you!

Craft your Own Tea contest
Where: Honest Tea Booth No. 119
When: All Day, Both Days & during Cocktails and Crafts
Grab a template at the booth and dream up a new Honest Tea flavor!  Illustrate the blank bottle with Honest Tea’s art supplies. Bazaar Bizzarre staff and Honest Tea staff will choose the winner who will receive fun PRIZES.  All artwork will be posted next to the booth so everyone can see your crafted creations!

HamblyMakeTakeNew Workshops

Notepads – Create a unique notepad using a selection of Hambly’s popular products and learn how to bind it together using a hair tie and bamboo skewer.

Paper Garland – Play with punching out a variety of papers, fold them and string it together to make garland you can hang anywhere.

Notecards – Learn how to line an envelope and use an overlays as card. Great to use for lining cards for the holidays, weddings or baby showers.

Overlay Pinwheels – Create a pinwheel using our hand silk-screened overlays. You can make it as a pin and wear it, or hang it as an ornament.

Rub-on Bracelets – These fun bracelets are fun to make and wear everywhere. You’ll get a blank wooden bracelet from DIY Bangles and we will cover it with an assortment of Hambly rub-ons.

Moustaches on a straw – Learn how to create these quirky Moustaches on a straw. These are perfect for you next party and use our popular moustache rub-ons.

Projects range in price from FREE – $2 donation per project. All of them are guaranteed to be fun and full of potential for your gift-giving and decorating needs!

DIY Hand Warmers

When: Saturday, 1:00- 2:30pm and Sunday, 3:00 – 5:00pm
Join the talented young ladies of the Sweet Dreams Business Cooperative as they show you how to make fun hand warmers using fleece,  fun decorative buttons and accessories. Sponsored by Turning Heads Organization which provides vocational arts instruction, entrepreneurship, and leadership development training for high-risk youth in San Francisco.

Fabric Flowers

When: Saturday 2:30-5:00PM
Join the ladies of Stonemountain & Daughter Fabric as they teach you to make a fast and fun fabric flower! Perfect accessory for using leftover scraps of fabric or your treasured stash textiles.

Soap Making
Where: DIY Funhouse
When: Sat. & Sun. 2-4:30PM
Make pure and simple skin care products at home using the finest food grade ingredients. You will watch a demonstration on how soap is made from basic ingredients and molded into a fragrance free castile soap. Led by Grace Marty of  SF Shine’s Funhouse.

How to Make Mexican Paper Flowers
Where: DIY Funhouse
When: Saturday 1-3PM
December 12 is a holy day in Latin american celebrating the Day of the Virgen de  Guadalupe. Nancy Charraga, owner of Mexevents.com is an expert on Mexican culture- she will share this beautiful and fun tradition of making paper flowers and other decorations traditionally used to honor this special day. Ages 5-12 yrs. +

Needle Felted Owl Ornament

Join Jackie H. of Woolbuddy as he demonstrates how to make his signature cute wool owl ornament! You can follow along with a full kit that Jackie will have for sale at the demo. Needle felting is a natural wool craft that makes wonderful toys and accessories for people of all ages!

Crochet Ornaments

Minimum Enrollment: 4 students (Maximum enrollment 10 students)
Are you looking for a quick crochet project to decorate your house or give as gifts? Come learn to make adorable crocheted ornaments with Kira of Kira K Designs. Project was inspired from a fab tutorial by  Pip Lincolne of Meet Me At Mike’s. We’ll provide the materials for 2 ornaments, so you just need to bring your size E crochet hook!
