TechShop SF will be doing demos and workshops from laser cutting to snow globe making….get inspired and learn how you can build your dream projects with this local creative resource! On Saturday check out the Bazaar Bizarre DIY Fun House to make a FREE Linocut print by Boarding All Rows, craft a paper gingerbread man ornament or make one of a kind sculpture with SCRAP. On Sunday join Go Go Craft as they show you how to make a fun plush doll! Don’t forget to strike a pose with our Bazaar Bizarre Bear and Yeti, then hop in the Magbooth for a free set of fun photos to remember your day!

TechShop Member Laura Bruland found TechShop at Bizarre Bizarre last year and has been on our bandwagon ever since! Laura has taken her handmade business – YES & YES Designs – to the next level of production and we will be featuring her live-crafting abilities utilizing Techshop tools at our booth. Come say hello, peruse her wares and see how easy it is for an everyday crafter can go take an idea and turn it into a fantastic final product with TechShop.
Laser Cutter
Come see the most versatile and user friendly tool at TechShop! Laser cutting and etching demonstrations on wood, cardboard, acrylic, fabric (and much more!).
CNC Embroidery Machine
A must-see for every seamstress! Able to create custom and complex embroidery at the touch of a button this machine will be showing off its incredible abilities for the entirety of the show.
Silk Screening Using A Vinyl Stencil
When: Saturday 3:00PM – 5:00PM
Limited Seating of 12 students maximum – First come First Served!
Come learn TechShop’s fun and easy way to custom silk screened designs! This workshop will take you through the simple steps of creating a single-color screen print onto blank fabric. You will also get to learn about the endless possibilities that Techshop’s CNC Vinyl Cutter can provide for creating your very own silk screening stencils, stickers, decals and more. Easy and super fun!
Make Your Own Holiday Ornament From Laser Cut Parts
When: Sunday 1:00pm – 3:00PM
Limited Seating of 12 students maximum – First come First Served!
Make a hanging ornament from a variety of interesting parts cut from TechShop’s laser cutter! Birds, dinosaurs, snowflakes, saws, and more will all be ready to turn into a great holiday decoration The project is simple but the possibilities are endless: suspend a small cut piece inside a larger frame, connect many pieces together to form a garland, its up to you!
Take home your own hand-pulled linocut holiday print. Using a carved linoleum block made for this year’s Bazaar Bizarre Holiday Show, choose an ink and paper color and print your own poster. Find out how to print your own woodcut or linoleum blocks at home. – Saturday Only
Looking for something exciting to make this holiday season? This is the workshop for you! In this fun hand-sewing workshop GoGo Craft will teach you how to make your own customizable plushie avatar that is perfect for gift-giving (if you can bear to part with it, that is). Choose from different hair styles, clothes, and accessories to make a plushie that represents you, your alter ego, or someone you love. Perfect for crafters of any level! – Sunday only
Come flex your creativity muscles by designing a mini sculpture using materials destined for the landfill. SCRAP will provide all the supplies: CD’s, easter eggs, toys, buttons, hot glue etc. You supply the imagination and our artists will help you create a masterpiece. Make a doll, make a mini Watts Tower, create jewelry, the sky is the limit! – Both Days
