The Pour House is easily San Francisco’s best kept secret. Our goals are to share and spread wine appreciation while putting a cork in wine snobbery.

They are looking for artists who would like to show/sell their art on Thursdays from 4-8pm. This is a great opportunity to get your work seen & make great contacts with the Polk St Art Community.

Also any independent market sort of folks who would like to vend on site these Thursdays – we’re having mini trunk shows each week as well. It’s our way to support the local arts & bring great art, fashion & crafts together.

HOW WEIRD 2012 – May 13th- South of Market, S.F

The 13th annual How Weird Street Faire is on May 13th from Noon to 8pm, and will have 13 stages of music and performances spread throughout 13 city blocks.

This year features dance music stages by Symbiosis, Raindance, Sunset Music, Forward SF, Opel, Opulent Temple, Muti Music, Temple Nightclub, Groove Garden, Enchanted Forest, SWAG, Happy Camp, Red Marines, Pulse, Pink Mammoth, SF House, Nu Funk Boutique, and more.

Plus vendors from around the world, an entire alley of live and exhibited art, nonprofits to educate and inspire, food and drinks, and thousands of people in colorful costumes coming together to celebrate our collective destiny and this significant time.

How Weird is centered at Howard and 2nd Streets, in the heart of San Francisco’s SoMa district. The faire takes place on Howard Street between New Montgomery and 1st Street, and on 2nd Street between Mission and Folsom. Buses, trains, MUNI, and BART all come within a short walk to the faire. Plus there is free bike parking at New Montgomery and Howard, at the Main Entrance.

Corte Madera/Larkspur Fourth of July Parade & Celebration

The annual Corte Madera/Larkspur Fourth of July Parade and Celebration is one of the biggest events on the Fourth of July in Marin. In it’s 47th year, the event draws over 10,000 people is regarded to be one of Marin’s finest parades.

The parade begins at 10:30 at Redwood High School (395 Doherty Drive, Larkspur) and ends at Corte Madera’s Town Center where festivities will continue until 5pm.

Festival in the Park
The celebration immediately following the parade at Corte Madera Town Park will feature about 70 arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, including the famous hamburger booth, plus ice cream, snow-cones and more. There will be entertainment featuring a great band on the main stage. In the Children’s Area there will be entertainment, performing birds, carnival games, and face-painting.

Indie Mart 2012 dates announced & open for vendors

Indie mart is back, after winter hibernation. SF’s only truly local indie design, DIY and music party hits for 3 Summer & Fall Shows at Thee Parkside and all down Wisconsin Street. All the things you love are back again: awesome vendors, all day bands, cheap beers, stiff drinks, photobooth to get wild in, Underground food vendors, food trucks, Parkside’s tasty BBQ and tots, all the eye candy, fun and rad shopping you can imagine. Vendors include DIYers, makers, designers, screenprinters, illustrators, artists, typographers, vintage, a few carpenters, foodies and local stores. Save the date for all our shows and applications are open for vendors.

Vending opportunities

Hello Market SF artists!   There are a few very exciting vending opportunities coming up:

Lower Haight Spring Art Walk
Friday, April 6 6-9p
 6 spots to remain.  We’ll be setting up on the sidewalk on Haight Street between Fillmore and Webster.  This is the first time they’ll have vending opportunities but this art walk is always well attended!

Divisadero Art Walk
Thursday, April 12 6-9p
There are 4-5 spots to fill.  We’ll be setting up in Madrone Art Bar.  There is tons of stuff going on in conjunction with the art walk including the openings of Workspace and the San Franpsycho store.  Madrone is considered the last stop on the art walk and gets tons of traffic.

Beginning April 9
Market SF is opening a shop-in-shop within RAG co-op in Hayes Valley!  Super excited for this opportunity.  This will be 100 sq ft of highly curated locally made merchandise.  Looking for a handful of artists to be featured on a rotating basis.

What is the Jack London Square Night Market?

The Jack London Square Night Market will begin as a series of three evening shopping bazaars that will take place along the beautiful Oakland waterfront on May 4, June 1 and July 6.

The Night Markets will join Oakland in the celebrations that take place throughout the city during the First Friday of each month. Jack London Square will sparkle with excitement under the stars from 6 PM to 10 PM.

What will be happening during the Night Market?
The line-up of activities and programming offers something for everyone, including live entertainment, music, dancing, magic, fresh farmer’s market produce, delicious food, libations, interactive art, demonstrations, shopping with local oakland, artisans and craftsmen, fortune telling and many, many surprises.

How can I participate?
Vendor booths are available for artist, craftsmen, and local businesses or services. Register Early and receive a discounted rate! Submit application, payment and hold harmless by the following dates:
•  Now through April 10, 2012 – with application, payment and hold harmless10’ x 10’ space is $150.00, for all (3) Night Markets, or $60 for each individual Night Market.
•  From April 11, 2012 to April 20, 2012 – with application, payment and hold harmless
•  10’ x 10’ space is $200.00 for all (3) Night Markets, or $75 for each individual Night Market.

What we need no later than April 20, 2012 (or March 30th for special rate)
• Completed application – see attached
• A link to your website OR two photographs of your product/s (photos will not be returned)
• Payment by check (payable to CEP JLS-I LLC) – address is located on application form
• Hold Harmless document with the name of your business and signature – see attached

What is required the day of the event:
• All exhibitors will be required to be completely set up by 5:30 PM
• Your own tent canopy, tables, chairs, canopy weights, etc.
• Extension cords and necessary tools for your set–up and break down
• Copy of your Sellers Permit on display

12th Annual Park Street Spring Festival -Alameda – May 12th & 13th

The 12th Annual Park Street Spring Festival is a Mother’s Day weekend tradition in Alameda and the Bay Area. With over 150 vendors, the street fair is a perfect place to find a gift for Mom.
